Meshtastic Net Tonight

Tune in to the meshtastic voice net tonight at 8pm on the 94 repeater.

This may not become a permenant net but we want to promote some discussion around meshtastic and it is a good way to get the word out! For more information on how to listen in, visit the W5QX Website.

Budget friendly solar node

Check out this video from The Comms Channel

Rokland now sells a solar enclosure for WisBlock nodes from RAK, with a bigger solar panel and space for your WisBlock board and a flat LiPo battery, and supports several mounting options. This might be a good place to start if you are looking to make a solar powered node without too much construction or hassle. You can look at this enclosure here.

Note: As of writing, this enclosure is sold out, but should be available again around late July or early August.

New guide available

Hi!

The site had been updated with a new guides tab in the side bar, where you will find all guides written by Angelo Mesh regarding radio setup and configuration, as well as build guides and positioning. I have published a getting started guide for new meshtastic users that I think most will find helpful for setting up new radios. I will be working on many more guides soon this month! You can access this guide here. Stay tuned for more!

Discord Server

Hey there!

I just wanted to announce that there is a new discord server set up for discussion, and to share your node builds/files with other members! There are also channels for range testing and help with Meshtastic.
